Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a responsible Material Handler (Cylinder Handler) to join our team in Hillside, IL. This role involves handling high- and low-pressure gas cylinders, preparing them for shipment, and performing related duties.

What you will be doing (2nd shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM):

• Load and unload gas cylinders and other products onto and off trucks and trailers
• Roll and sort cylinders indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Verify cylinder quantities, styles, and products; assist with inventory
• Review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and load trucks for delivery
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, such as painting, labeling, and cleaning
• Assist with shipment paperwork, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds

• 1+ year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment (preferred)
