Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1+ years of related experience, or an associate degree in Life Sciences/Engineering.
• Biotech Certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Material Handler

The Material Handler supports biologics manufacturing operations by providing cross‑functional assistance to all manufacturing teams. This role is responsible for executing processes in strict compliance with cGMP requirements, environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines, and all applicable regulations. Additionally, the Material Handler maintains adherence to production schedules to ensure that all departments are supplied with the necessary equipment and components to support their operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receive manufacturing material production kits from the warehouse.
• Remove materials from packaging, dispose of packaging, and bleach materials per SOP.
• Deliver materials to the MFG GMP area.

Secondary Responsibilities (if time permits)

• Cross‑train in Central Services.
• Stocking.
• Gowning.
• Performing glass wash cycles.
• Performing autoclave cycles.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Normal office working conditions: computer, phone, files, fax, copier.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• May require lifting amounts of up to 40 lbs.
• Manufacturing operations tasks require remaining on feet regularly during shifts.
• Buffer containers may weigh 50L to 200L.
• Sitting periods of 2 to 3 hours may occur.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $26/hr – $30/hr
