Tobin Scientific in Beverly, MA seeks a meticulous Material Handler to ensure timely availability of materials for biopharma projects. You will receive shipments, track inventory, and support on-site teams with accurate stocking and safe handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in customer service with a strong track record of client satisfaction.
• Highly professional with positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communicator with ability to give and receive feedback.
• Adaptable and proactive in learning new skills or concepts.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight and seek support when necessary.
• Follow SOPs and work procedures.
• Perform additional shipping and stocking tasks as needed.
• Operate safely with PPE as required.
• Able to balance priorities and manage time to complete tasks within shift.
• Intermediate computer skills; able to use inventory systems.
• Able to walk 5+ hours daily and lift 50 lbs.
• Pallet jack/lift truck operation experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Receive shipments and follow inventory tracking procedures.
• Load and unload trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
• Identify risks in inventory levels and items with long lead times.
• Coordinate with on-site team to ensure proper inventory transfer.
• Organize assigned areas and propose improvements with the end user in mind.
• Process deviations (damages, miscounts, etc.) per SOP.
• Serve as a professional and reliable representative of Tobin Scientific.
