Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Material Handler (CNC) for the 2nd shift in Cary, IL. You will unload, verify, and store materials, prepare items for production, and safely transport goods to vendors as needed. The role requires forklift operation and accurate record-keeping.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role at Chromalox’s Thermocoax division.

Qualifications

Material Handler, CNC (2nd shift)

The Role:

As the Material Handler, you
will unload, check and compare material to purchase order. Verify count and
part numbers. Receive and store materials plus prepare materials for use in all
of the production areas. This role also includes safely transporting product to and from a local vendor as required. Maintain records reflecting receipts and disbursements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Receive purchase orders/materials assuring accuracy of receipts. Assure completion of materials on a daily basis. Label material properly with correct part numbers and distribute material to departments/inventory locations as required.


• Inspect, count, weigh or measure material or items from incoming shipments for correct part number and count verifying information against purchase order/packing list.


• Receive in computer system to correct location.


• Perform cycle counting and make adjustment to records on inventory as directed.


• Operate fork lift as required.


• Fill pick tickets and kits as requested.


• Transport materials/products to and from a local vendor using a company vehicle, following all safety and company policies.


• Load and unload materials for vendor deliveries, ensuring product integrity and accuracy.


• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.

Our Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred


• 1 - 3 years material handling experience


• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (required)


• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for local deliveries

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.00 (2nd shift has a 15% shift differential)
