Job description

General Job Duties:

  1. Complete forklift pre-operational checklist at the start of shift.
  2. Stretch wrap pallets.
  3. Maintain order to warehouse (straight rows and proper aisles).
  4. Inspect pallets or containers for damage or missing labels.
  5. Pull, stage and load shipments as directed by supervisor.
  6. Scan loads and download scanner.
  7. Load finished goods, delivering to shipping and/or designated areas.
  8. Unload trucks.
  9. Load components necessary for line.
  10. Lower down WIP product.
  11. Coordinate and pull trailers in and out of docks.
  12. General maintenance of tractor (refuel, check oil, keep up appearance of tractor).
  13. Complete dock hitch checklist.
  14. Warehouse finished goods as instructed by supervisor.
  15. Inventory control.
  16. Rotate stock.
  17. Maintain returnable and pallets.
  18. Communicate with other shift supervisor concerning problems.
  19. Assure all shipments are 100% checked.
  20. Deliver dye to the presses and return to the cage.
  21. Maintain the layout of the dye cage.
  22. Deliver dryer to press – check dryer before delivery to ensure it is clean.
  23. Return dryer – check dryer before returning.
  24. Monitor the bulk-dryer hoppers.
  25. Stock incoming dye.
  26. Coordinate P.O.U. stocking.
  27. Prepare/Maintain accurate paperwork for shipments & receivables.
  28. Maintain efficiency.
  29. Meet TS16949 requirements.
  30. Housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
  31. Perform work of equal or lower grade, as directed by supervision that will include training of inexperienced personnel.
