Job summary

Doppelmayr USA, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Material Handler to support the Daytime Manufacturing Team.

You will transport raw materials, move weldments, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help keep production flowing on schedule with safety at the forefront. Responsibilities include picking/packing according to shop orders, labeling and storing inventory, performing regular counts, housekeeping, and supporting the burn table when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating sit-down and/or narrow-aisle forklifts.
• Familiar with Windows-based computer programs.
• Able to organize and stage materials for orders.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Able to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift and manipulate 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials from receiving areas to designated workstations.
• Move completed weldments or sub-assemblies to the next production phase.
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
• Pick, pack inventory according to shop orders with 100% accuracy.
• Label, palletize, and stage inbound and outbound materials.
• Put away and store inventory in proper locations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed.
• Perform housekeeping to keep work areas clean.
