Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. seeks a Material Handler to support daily production operations in our store/plant. You will move goods, process donations, and assist in training team members and volunteers to support the mission.

You will ensure proper handling, shelving, and pricing of donated items, while rotating stock and meeting production standards. A flexible schedule, including nights/weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Move goods in store/plant/warehouse and load/unload trucks with merchandise using material handling equipment.
• Sort donations, rotate products, and ensure proper processing of incoming donations.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking and pulling.
• Assist in training and developing team members, and ensure positive donor and customer experiences.
• Adhere to Goodwill policies, maintain safety, and work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
