Job summary

The Material Handler operates a variety of equipment designed to sort, count, compact or move empty beverage containers for recycling. You will process container counts accurately and maintain a clean, safe work area, adhering to OSHA and OBRC policies while meeting daily productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and sustained activity.
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Accurate data entry and record keeping for container counts.
• Awareness of safety policies and procedures in line with OSHA/OBRC standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count, and move empty beverage containers using manual and electric equipment.
• Load/unload trailers and transfer totes and pallets as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report maintenance issues.
• Enter data accurately for container processing and recycling records.
