Summary:

Safely operate forklift to retrieve large material such as aluminum and stainless-steel bars, sheet, and plate. Measure material for accuracy using tape measure, fractions, and decimals.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Schedule - Monday - Friday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Safely operate forklift.
• Verify counts, weights, and measurements of material.
• Comfortable with using a computer for order entry.
• Prepare and affix shipping labels accurately identifying shipping information.
• Assemble wood or cardboard containers for shipping material.
• Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Work directly with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to use tape measures, and perform math calculations, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to safely operate forklift.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with basic computer systems.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
