Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in De Soto, Kansas is seeking a Safety‑minded Material Handler to support production with timely delivery of raw materials and accurate inventory control. You’ll operate forklifts and other equipment, follow SOPs, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain smooth material flow.

You will be responsible for loading/unloading, inspections, documentation, and maintaining a clean 6S workspace.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• High School Diploma or GED or 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials and components to production areas according to schedule.
• Load and unload trucks safely using pallet jacks and walkie riders.
• Perform inspections of incoming materials and prepare documentation.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and monitor material flow aligned with production requirements.
• Operate and maintain tools and mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts, walkies).
• Support implementation of efficient material movement systems to improve workflow.
• Train peers and assist with onboarding of new team members.
• Communicate with coworkers and departments to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
