Overview

This position will use their skillset to distribute necessary materials for transformers while considering the values and goals of Power Partners.

Responsibilities

1. Understand and carry out detailed written/verbal instructions regarding verifying and documenting materials.
2. Ensure safe and proper operation of tools and equipment.
3. Safely operate motorized lift equipment.
4. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices and/or co-workers.
5. Ensure conformity of ALL materials and documents to standards.
6. Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Communicate, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Use iPad, computer, and/or other electronic communication devices.
• Work in a team environment with open communication and collaboration.
• Use good organizational skills and show attention to detail.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole units of measure.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
• Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials.
• Use hand scanners and radio devices.
• Operate various types of motorized fork trucks.
• Must be able to lift, push/pull 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking are necessary.
• Frequent sitting, stooping, reaching, or climbing.
• 20/40 vision is required with or without corrective lenses, along with normal peripheral vision (no less than 70%), depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must comply with all plant safety policies and procedures, including department safety rules.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE, including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
