Material Handler - Night Shift - Starting at $21.00/hour

Location: Sheboygan Falls/Kohler, WI

Join the Sheboygan Falls – Spartech Team and make a difference in your career! We support medical, food, and graphic arts customers with thin gauge plastic sheeting used in thermoforming and printing applications. Our products are found in items like iTunes cards, Home Depot signs, and comic book covers.

We are seeking a Material Handler to support our diverse customer base. This role offers growth opportunities in a company that values safety, success, and employee development. If you meet the qualifications, you will be part of a fast-paced environment that encourages advancement.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform material handling tasks following company policies and standards.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Maintain departmental records, files, and paperwork.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and report exceptions.
  • Maintain housekeeping and environmental compliance.
  • Inspect and report equipment, supplies, and material issues to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of internal and external contacts, including routine report writing.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, shipping documents, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support team goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and SAP; knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
