Job summary

Clayton Services in the North Houston area is seeking a Material Handler to assist with shipment and receipt of products, materials and supplies. This temp-to-hire role offers two shifts with OT potential, and benefits after the temporary period.

You will load/unload shipments, tag components, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with logistics, sales, and service providers. Prior forklift experience and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Forklift training required.
• Sit-down forklift experience moving 15,000–22,000 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with logistics staff and sales to coordinate shipments and receive goods.
• Load and unload containers and truckloads, handling parts and equipment.
• Tag parts and compressors per specs.
• Follow health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
