Job summary

CNH Industrial in New Holland, PA, is seeking an Assembly Specialist to assemble a wide range of components into complete units on an online line. You will follow engineering specs, check for quality, and keep the workspace clean and safe.

High school diploma or GED is required, and forklift experience is preferred. The role offers compensation around $25.80 per hour plus bonus, with CNH’s comprehensive benefits across the U.S. operations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to build complete units on the line.
• Work from engineering specifications, sketches, blueprints, or process sheets.
• Make necessary adjustments as the unit progresses on the line.
• Record defects and report improper operation or defective parts.
• Visually inspect parts and assemblies for completeness and function.
• Assist in developing assembly practices and procedures.
• Move materials as needed and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and may perform touch-up or small repairs.

Job Purpose

Assemble a wide variety of component parts, to build complete units, with a focus of on-line operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten various commodities, components, parts, sub-assemblies, or units to chassis in required order and sequence.
• Work from Engineering specifications (work instructions), sketches, schematic diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions.
• Perform necessary adjustments as unit progresses down assembly line.
• Record defects that require off-line and on-line corrections. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, excessive continuation of defective parts, improper function, and assembling to proper supervision or management.
• Visually check parts and entire assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance.
• Assist in the development of assembly practices and procedures.
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• May perform touch-up or small repair work when assigned.

Experience Required

High school diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $25.80 - plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
