Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring Material Handlers to support a major manufacturing ramp-up in Northern Saginaw County, MI. The role involves moving materials with manual equipment, loading and unloading components, and keeping lines stocked while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Shifts run from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM on a 2-3-2 swing schedule; base pay is $21.70 per hour plus shift premiums. This is a full-time position with a 3-month contract, with pre-employment testing and background

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift).
• Education: High School.
• Experience: 1–4 years.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs independently.

Responsibilities

• Move, stage, and transfer raw materials and finished goods safely across the facility using manual pallet jacks and hand carts.
• Load, unload, and sort production components efficiently to keep lines stocked.
• Maintain clear walkways, work zones, and inventory staging areas.
• Inspect materials for basic damage or discrepancies while handling.
• Follow all plant safety regulations, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
