Flex--n--gate in Salem, Ohio, is seeking a dependable Material Handler for the afternoon shift to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will load/unload materials, read part numbers, maintain quality and safety, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals while ensuring accuracy and timely handling of goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1+ year forklift/material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manual dexterity and attention to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements and adopt safe work practices.
• Load or unload materials as needed.
• Read part numbers and distinguish between them accurately.
• Bring correct containers to the work area without disrupting production.
• Place finished goods in the proper area for downstream processes.
• Report equipment issues to the supervisor or manager.
• Work within a team environment and cooperate with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
