Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Material Handler for the Afternoon shift in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will read part numbers, load/unload materials, and ensure the correct containers are used without disrupting production.

Ideal candidates may have a high school diploma (preferred) and 1+ year forklift/material handling experience. Strong reading and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are essential. Overtime may be required.

• Experience operating forklift and material handling preferred (1+ year).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Job Duty Summary

• Follow all safety requirements
• Load or unload materials as needed
• Read part numbers and show distinction between part numbers
• Bring correct containers to work area without disrupting production
• Place finished goods in proper area
• Report any equipment issues to active supervisor or manager
• Work within a team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• Minimum 1+ year experience operating Forklift and Material Handling preferred
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manual dexterity and attention to quality standards
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
