Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a Material Handler in the United States to support production by delivering, staging, and moving materials. You will help maintain material flow, assist with inventory, and keep a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities include supplying materials, managing WIP, retrieving pallets, and adhering to 5S and PPE requirements. Training on AS400 and plant systems is provided.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to maintain a clean, orderly work area per 5S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Team player in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, stage, and deliver materials to production lines.
• Maintain WIP materials and ensure proper material flow.
• Retrieve pallets and remove waste materials from equipment.
• Keep aisles clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.
