Roles and Responsibilities
- Pick materials from storage locations according to pick lists from production work orders.
- Manage corrugate removal and other materials from work areas, disposing or recycling in accordance with SOP.
- Replenish rubber for press operations.
- Maintain the recycle area.
- Transport materials to outside storage areas.
- Empty waste containers per standard policy.
- Replenish rubber to presses.
- Remove work order components from previous jobs, transport to storage, and process returns in the system.
- Use software (KBM) to search for materials and transact in the system.
- Count materials needed and update transactions in the system.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Assist internal departments in retrieving raw materials.
- Maintain professional behavior, including approachability, patience, and mutual respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient in forklift operation; certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to perform push and pull functions.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
