Job Description
  • Reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved.
  • Feeds, removes, flexes, jogs, and stacks printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process products to and from equipment.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves manually. May also load materials into trucks and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding using hand tools.
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices.
  • Counts, weighs, and records the number of units of materials moved or handled daily.
  • Attaches tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers.
  • Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands them using banding machines and clinchers.
  • May operate automated equipment, industrial trucks, or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic procedures, and storage areas to accurately place or retrieve materials.
  • Ability to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items following operating instructions.
  • Capability to complete forms related to stock description, quantity, and labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Proficiency in using shrink-wrap, strapping equipment, powered lift equipment, pallet jacks, manual dollies, carts, and hand tools such as hammers, pliers, and stretch wrap tools.
  • May require skill in operating forklifts.
Additional Information

All information will be kept confidential per EEO guidelines.

Shift details: 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. Overtime may be required. Training on 1st or 2nd shift for 4-6 weeks.

Pay range: $15.15 - $16.15/hour, with potential additional compensation including overtime and shift differentials depending on various factors.
