Job summary

Henny Penny in Eaton, OH is seeking an Entry Material Handler to support the production plant by operating a forklift to collect, stack, and deliver materials. You will follow safety procedures, complete daily checks, and keep the work area organized for smooth production flow.

You will use JDE and Kanban tools to communicate supply needs, maintain accurate card status, and help ensure stocked materials meet team demands.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Crane license required for Punch Cell roles.
• 1+ year experience in material handling or forklift operation.
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 60 lbs frequently.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of manufacturing processes (Kanban, JDE, BOM viewers).

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift to collect, stack, and deliver materials within the production plant.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area with stocked part racks.
• Fills daily checklists and performs visual inspections.
• Responds to team requests and communicates supply needs using JDE/Kanban tools.
• Supports Kanban card tracking and history in the JDE system.
