Job summary

Reeb Millwork is seeking a qualified Material Handler to support warehouse operations at our Mocksville, NC site. The role requires reading production work orders, loading and staging materials, and maintaining accurate inventory using the company system.

You will operate powered machinery (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, order pickers) with current certification, assist with cycle counts, and train junior staff while upholding safety standards and efficient dock processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 4+ years related experience with powered industrial trucks.
• Proficiency with computers required.

• Receive, pick, stage, load, or return correct warehouse items using equipment as required
• Uses automated picker machines to select and move units as available
• Read production work orders and scan and stage material accordingly. Inspect for accuracy.
• View and update units in inventory system to ensure accuracy of site inventory
• Trains Material Handler I and II level positions on products, process, procedures and using equipment
• Inspect unit for quality/all defects
• Make repairs for minor and/or major damage on products if found
• Use equipment to load product on delivery trucks when required
• Use of hand-held scanner to receive, move, identify and pick/pull correct materials from designated bin locations
• Move any damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or return to vendor
• Use of a sit-down or standup forklift, swing-reach, scissor lift and/or order picker required as well as maintenance of appropriate certification
• Perform daily inspections of powered industrial equipment and report maintenance issues to supervisor
• View orders or product in inventory system to assist with daily tasks and troubleshoot issues
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
• Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as received, pulled and/or loaded
• Assure proper housekeeping and organization on the docks and warehouse aisles
• Strive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracy
• Identify, render disposition, and return undamaged materials to warehouse locations.
• Assist with inventory accuracy through cycle count programs and bin maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience

Four plus years related experience and previous certification on powered industrial trucks.
