Position: Material Handler - 2nd shift

POSITION SUMMARYThe PSI Group in Williamsport, MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking Material Handlers to join our 2nd shift team. These are full-time positions, Monday through Thursday, with the requirement to work overtime occasionally. This position does not require rotating shift schedules. Material Handlers will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, storage, and transportation of materials and finished goods within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include manual operations and the safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, turret trucks, manual pallet jacks, and powered pallet jacks. Some manual movement of materials may also be required. Good attendance is essential!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Safety-first mentality
- 3-5 years of forklift operation/material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work the core schedule: 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as necessary
- Knowledge of safe forklift operation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely
- Physical capability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch, or kneel for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of computer and barcode scanning systems
