Position: Material Handler - 2nd shift

POSITION SUMMARYThe PSI Group in Williamsport, MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking Material Handlers to join our 2nd shift team. These are full-time positions, Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime. This position does not require rotating shift flexibility. Material Handlers will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, storage, and transportation of materials and finished goods within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include manual operations and the safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, turret trucks, manual pallet jacks, and powered pallet jacks. Some manual movement of materials may also be required. Good attendance is essential!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Safety-first mentality
- 3-5 years of forklift operator/material handler experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work the following core schedule: 2nd shift - 3:30 pm to 1:30 am, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed
- Knowledge of safe forklift operation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely
- Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch, or kneel for extended periods
- General knowledge of computer and barcode scanning systems
