Material Handler (2nd Shift) - ONeal Steel / Fort Wayne, IN

Join O'Neal Steel as a Material Handler (2nd Shift) at our Fort Wayne, IN facility.

This role involves loading and unloading materials within a warehouse, utilizing equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, and conveyors to move materials to and from trucks, trains, and storage areas. The position requires knowledge of standard practices and procedures, with tasks performed based on instructions and established guidelines, typically without the need for independent judgment.

Job Requirements
  • Ability to operate various material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, and yard dog.
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as grinders, banders, drills, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality work to internal and external customers.

Overtime may be required. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test upon employment offer.
