Job description

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a (2nd Shift) Material Handler at our Evansville, IN facility.

The Material Handler will load and unload materials within a warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, or other handling equipment. The role involves moving materials to and from trucks or trains and within the storage facility, following established practices and procedures. The position primarily relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines, with minimal independent judgment required.

What you will be doing

1. Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, stacker cranes, side loaders, yard dogs, etc.
2. Use a variety of hand tools such as grinders, banders, drills, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
3. Read tape measures accurately.
4. Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.

Must be able to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM-10:00PM), Monday - Friday. Overtime may be required.

Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test upon employment offer.
