What You'll Get to Do

TheMaterial Handleris focused on handling glass pieces and rotatethem through the various phases of the tempering, laminating, cutting, or shippingprocesses and reports to the Shift Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who is safety minded, a team player and dependable. A vital member of the Production Team this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Move glass product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
  • Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production process
  • Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
  • Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

What We Are Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Must understand units of measurement and be able to perform general mathematical equations
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision
  • Regular andpredictable attendance, the safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job
