Job summary

Oatey in Winchester, NH is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately pull raw material orders, supply production, and keep the work floor organized and safe each shift.

You will operate a forklift, reach truck, and order picker (training provided within 3 months), report scrap or quality issues, and maintain teamwork. High school diploma or equivalent is required; 1–4 years warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Forklift operator authorization required; safe operation of equipment including elevated locations.
  • Able to read labels and written documentation; cooperate with teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Pull raw material orders for delivery to production; scan in RF devices and supply consumables.
  • Return material to raw warehouse; consolidate into bays and scan during put-away.
  • Follow safety procedures, complete safety checklists, wear PPE, and maintain housekeeping.
  • Report scrap, damaged product, or quality problems to supervisors immediately.
  • Build effective relationships with coworkers and be ready to take on additional duties.

Ready to make an impact in a place where you matter?Position Summary:Accurately processes all customer and replenishment orders in a manner to ensure safety, quality and performance goals are met on a daily basis.Position Responsibilities:Pull raw material request orders for delivery to specified work centers in production and properly scan in RF device; supply required consumables to production areas and handle disposal of some waste from the production floor, i.e., bad pallets, recyclables, etc.Return material to the raw warehouse and consolidate into existing bays where possible upon put away and properly scan in RF deviceFollow all safety procedures, including safety startup checklists at the beginning of the shift for powered industrial vehicles, notifying the team leader/supervisor of any equipment problems immediately, wearing all required PPE, participating in 6S events, and maintaining good housekeeping and execution of standard workReport any scrap, damaged product, or quality problems to the team leader/supervisor immediatelyEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers by willingness to take on additional responsibility and/or support as assignedKnowledge and Experience:One to four (1-4) years of experience in a warehouse settingGood communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and writtenForklift operator authorization required and demonstrated ability in safe equipment operation, including elevated locations (heights)Must be able to comply with manufacturer’s weight limit to wear required safety tether for picking at elevated locationsDemonstrated ability in proper freight handling.
