Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Material Handler in Elk Grove Village, IL to perform supervised work related to production. You will position materials, load/unload, and keep work areas clean.

You must have basic math and English skills and be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions. This role offers an hourly wage of $19-$25 with competitive benefits as part of Klein Tools' total rewards package.

• Performs miscellaneous supervised work having a direct or indirect relation to production.
• Positions materials in work areas, at machines, or workstations.
• Loads and unloads trucks, carts, skids, bins, or containers.
• Cleans machines and equipment, as required.
• Sweeps, cleans, and removes scrap from department work areas, aisles, storage areas, etc.
• Weighs or counts parts, as required.
• Keeps the supervisor advised on the transfer of materials to assure adequate supplies.
• Performs assignments in accordance with instructions and schedules.
• Maintains clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
