Job summary

ProAmpac, Hanover Park, IL, is hiring a Material Handler for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri with some weekends). The role includes loading, unloading, and moving materials, preparing pallets for production, and operating a forklift. We offer bonuses, holidays, 401k, health benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualified candidates will have warehouse experience, basic math and good communication. High school diploma required; bilingual skills a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and move materials within the plant.
• Prepare make-ready pallets for printing, slitting, pouch-making and spouting operations.
• Operate forklift truck or pallet mover to assist in loading/moving materials.
• Maintain safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
