Job summary

BostonFAM is a furniture retail company offering employee ownership and a supportive culture. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to unload, sort, and store inventory, assist with customer pickups, and inspect items for damage.

The role requires lifting heavy objects, 2nd shift availability (3pm–11:30pm), and the ability to operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Training for forklift may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects.
• Forklift/lift experience preferred but not required - will train.
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort furniture and appliances from semi-trailers.
• Move products to appropriate location within the warehouse, including using order picker to place product in racking.
• Assist in retrieving products from warehouse racking and loading product into customer vehicles and/or trailers.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

About The Role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to unload and sort products, store and retrieve inventory, assist with customer pickups, and inspect items for damage.

Schedule:

Sunday Through Thursday (3pm to 11:30pm)

What you will be doing each day:

• Unload and sort furniture and appliances from semi-trailers
• Move products to appropriate location within the warehouse, including using order picker to place product in racking
• Assist in retrieving products from warehouse racking and loading product into customer vehicles and/or trailers
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

We are looking for individuals with:

• Availability to work 2nd shift hours (3pm to 11:30pm)
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• The ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects
• Forklift/lift experience preferred but not required - will train
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
