This is a steel material handler position responsible for reading and executing work orders to meet customer requirements. It is a nonexempt (hourly) position reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, with no supervisory responsibilities. The role requires adherence to Triple-S Steel's safety and work standards. Overtime may be necessary to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
• Move steel safely using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts and cranes.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds over distances up to 25 feet.
• Apply bundling techniques and configure loads for transportation.
• Operate tools and equipment safely, including measuring devices and lifting machinery.
• Identify safety issues and report them promptly.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Maintain spatial awareness and coordinate with team members.
• Attend company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
