Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler with forklift experience to move, stack, and load materials across the plant, ensuring accurate inventory and on-time delivery.

You will follow safety procedures, participate in training, and support continuous improvement while collaborating with teammates and maintaining strong work ethics.

A high school diploma or GED and basic English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling or Hilo driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move and stack materials.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets or lifting devices.
• Move materials within the plant to designated areas per schedule.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and supply materials to work stations as needed.
• Weigh materials or products and record data where required.
• Recharge batteries or replace gas tanks as needed.

Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and maintained.
