Job summary

Hendrickson in McKinney, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ship, receive, and stage units, transport between assembly and shipping, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will perform daily checks, follow work instructions, comply with the Quality Management System, and operate forklifts; the company offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English.
• Must be able to speak in English via a two-way radio.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Forklift experience required - sit-down and reach truck.
• Computer skills and knowledge of MRP systems preferred.
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, band, shrink-wrap and stage units for shipment and load staged units onto truck.
• Transport units from assembly to shipping area.
• Follow shipping and packaging work instructions.
• Follow sales order by dates to ensure on-time delivery goals are met.
• Pick and pack UPS shipments.
• Process all dunnage including scrap pallets and returnable.
• Check hot sheet daily.
• Report inventory discrepancies.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Comply with the Quality Management System.

• Regular attendance and other duties as assigned

Education and Training

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-5 years' experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to read and write legibly in English
• Must be able to speak in English via a two-way radio
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Forklift Experience Required - Sit down and Reach truck
• Computer skills and knowledge of MRP systems preferred
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions
