Qualifications

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinate material movement between departments according to routing requirements.
• Sort questionable materials as per Quality Control’s request.
• Print and distribute pick tickets and perform necessary computer transactions.
• Organize the sequence of pulling materials and communicate with Material Support.
• Ensure production schedules are met through timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assist during peak times by operating material handling equipment and performing computer transactions.
• Maintain good communication and feedback with management and colleagues across shifts.
• Assist with Continuous Improvement Projects, evaluation of new equipment, training needs, and hiring when assigned.
• Monitor and enforce shop floor control systems.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in systems and procedures; propose and help implement changes.
• Coordinate with Raymond repair personnel for equipment maintenance and manage battery charging stations.
• Collaborate with Area Managers and other supervisors to optimize receiving duties.

Qualifications

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

2-5 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment. Must possess or be willing to obtain MEC Material Handling Certification.
