Universal Pure in Malvern, PA is seeking a Material Handler to support HPP by moving products between the warehouse and production areas. This full-time, second-shift position offers $17.50 per hour and requires a high school diploma with forklift experience preferred.

The role involves operating a pallet jack and standup forklift, performing inventory checks, and assisting with shipping/receiving in a cold manufacturing environment. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of MHE/forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems.
  • Ability to perform basic mental math and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manual pallet jack and standup forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials.
  • Perform inventory counts and ensure accuracy; report discrepancies.
  • Handle shipping and receiving duties as assigned.
  • Use radio frequency devices for picking, receiving, and putaway.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks and maintain equipment per policy.
  • Follow health, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Description

The Material Handler provides support for HPP by moving product from Warehouse and HPP production areas.

Shift:2nd, Monday to Friday 2 pm to 10:30 pm.

Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities:
  • Utilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials
  • Use a standup forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials
  • Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
  • Shipping and receiving duties as assigned
  • Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and putaway
  • Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
  • Perform order filler and checker duties
  • Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
  • Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 6 months MHE/forklift experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems
  • Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to perform basic mental math
  • Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
  • Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
  • This job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a manufacturing facility. The average temperature is 32 degrees.
  • This position requires the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting. It requires the ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely.
