Job summary

Universal Pure is seeking a Material Handler to support HPP by moving product from warehouse and production areas. Shift: 2nd, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts, performing inventory counts, and assisting with shipping/receiving in a wet, cold manufacturing environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months MHE/forklift experience preferred, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

• Utilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials
• Use a standup forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materials
• Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
• Shipping and receiving duties as assigned
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and putaway
• Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
• Perform order filler and checker duties
• Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
• Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6 months MHE/forklift experience preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

• This job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a manufacturing facility. The average temperature is 32 degrees.
• This position requires the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting. It requires the ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely.
