The position handles receiving, stocking, and delivering merchandise to workstations, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Benefits start after 30 days, including medical, dental and vision plans, 401(k), PTO, and referral

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must have keyboard skills and be computer literate.
• Must be able to learn quickly with on the job training.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and a high level of teamwork.
• Must be certifiable on Forklift and Stock-picker operations.
• Valid driver's license as may be required to drive delivery truck.

Responsibilities

• Receives all incoming merchandise and delivers it to the appropriate person/location.
• Rotates inventory and delivers stock to workstations.
• Pulls and moves stock to workstations and keeps inventory of pulled stock.
• Unloads pallets and loads/unloads trucks as needed.
• Shreds items when necessary and dumps trash.
• Cleans and restocks workstation as necessary.
• Works with vendors and follows safety procedures.
• Proactive in daily work responsibilities.

Harland Clarke offers a year-round TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED, BRIGHT, CLEAN manufacturing printing team-based environment.

• Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 and UPDOE/Plus $1.75 hourly shift differential
• Hours: 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday4:30PM- 1:00AM/Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM)

Position Summary:

Receives all incoming merchandise and delivers it to the appropriate person/location. Rotates inventory and delivers stock to workstations.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• This position requires a high level of accuracy of all records, computer data entry and physical inventories. Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and maintains related records. Writes receiving reports for all merchandise that comes into the building. Writes daily issue reports.
• Delivers all merchandise to the intended recipient. Delivers supplies and packages to employees as needed.
• Pulls and moves stock to workstations. Keeps inventory of stock pulled.
• Rotates inventory. Moves boxes to and from shelves.
• Unloads pallets. Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
• Shreds items when necessary. Dumps trash.
• Cleans and restocks workstation as necessary.
• This position requires working with vendors and operating within the locations safety and security procedures.
• Proactive in daily work responsibilities.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment. Liftingup to 50 lbs on a regular basis and 70 lbs on occasion. Regular standing, kneeling, bending, stooping and walking. Safety shoes and hearing protection are required.
