Join to apply for the Material Handler - 2nd shift role at THK Manufacturing of America.

This position is responsible for receiving shipments from external sources, shipping to TMADC, closing out Manufacturing Orders, storing materials in appropriate locations (inventory, racks, areas), retrieving materials for production, and managing inventory accuracy.

Major Responsibilities

1. Material Handling & Storing/Retrieving: Transport received material from Receiving to the appropriate area, input inventory movement into the system, reconfirm stock quantities, and correct discrepancies. Ensure materials are stored for easy retrieval and FIFO compliance.
2. Pulling Material & Disbursements: Receive Manufacturing Orders, pull materials from inventory, confirm items match the MO, and disburse into production.
3. Inventory Results Confirmation: Use Confirmation Sheets from Accounting to verify inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
4. Troubleshooting: Resolve daily operational issues in consultation with supervisors and relevant personnel.
5. Training Assistance: Assist in training new team members as needed.
6. Work Assistance: Support work management and process improvements within the department.
7. Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized work environment for safety and efficiency.
8. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Background Requirements

Qualifications: Forklift experience, ability to learn required skills within 3 months, knowledge of the metric system, good hand-eye coordination, ability to lift 70 lbs (up to 100+ with assistance), and following detailed instructions.

Education: High School Diploma or GED, vocational training or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, forklift operation, and shipping.
