Role Overview

As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the Warehouse Supervisor in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere, provide vision, and demonstrate support of the company’s core processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive incoming material or product, properly identify and place in proper storage or staging area.
  2. Ensure proper documentation and filing of paperwork for all material or product; maintain electronic records in the system and mainframe as necessary.
  3. Locate and deliver material and/or product to other departments for their use or storage; assist Quality in the movement of material or product.
  4. Perform audits of product and material to ensure proper receipt of shipment; audit and complete inventory of product in storerooms and/or warehouses.
  5. Properly store and/or deliver packaging materials to other departments.
  6. Combine product/material on pallets or in containers to prepare for further use or shipment.
  7. Use pallet moving equipment to transfer material and product to and from trailers; relocate material/product to storage or usage areas (stand-up and sit-down forklifts, scissor lift, etc.)
  8. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least 1 year of reach lift experience (must be listed on resume).
  2. Ability to obtain and maintain licensing for material handling equipment including reach lift, dock stocker, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts.
  3. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  4. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  5. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  6. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull containers frequently.
  7. Ability to read and understand instructions.
  8. Must pass background check, skills assessment, and drug screen.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Manhattan WMS.
