Filtran LLC in Des Plaines, IL, is seeking a Floor Material Handler to support production by moving materials, stocking machines, and coordinating with operators.
You will operate manual pallet trucks, lift heavy items, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the floor. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Floor Material Handler is responsible for the orderly movement of material in and out of the various manufacturing departments. A Floor Material Handler will supply equipment and operators with materials to insure the smooth and uninterrupted flow of the production processes.
Physical
This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to frequently bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Good vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, are required to safely perform job duties. The employee must be able to safely navigate production and warehouse areas and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Mental
This position requires attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills to accurately handle, move, and track materials while supporting production schedules. The employee must be able to follow work instructions, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively with team members, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The employee is regularly exposed to moving equipment, forklifts, machinery, and moderate industrial noise. The role requires frequent interaction with production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel and adherence to all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
