McDonald Plastic Molding, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer, is seeking a dependable team member to support production and shipping operations. You will review job travelers, prepare finished goods for shipment, and safely operate forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 6–12 months related experience or training.
  • Ability to read simple instructions and write simple notes.
  • Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and money.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Review job traveler to determine items to be transferred to and from production.
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment with proper identification.
  • Operate forklift to move product as assigned.
  • Label information on boxes or skids as directed.
  • Loads and operates auxiliary equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to strategic growth planning for McDonald Plastic Molding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review job traveler to determine items to be transferred to and from production.
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment with proper identification as directed.
  • Operate forklift to move product as assigned.
  • Label information on boxes or skids as directed.
  • Loads and operates auxiliary equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
