Job summary

FOX Factory in Michigan is seeking a Production Material Handler to support daily manufacturing by receiving, storing, and delivering materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring safe, organized work areas. The role interfaces with production, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve material issues.

The position requires 1+ years of warehousing or material handling experience, forklift operation (certification preferred), and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other industrial equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish production lines to prevent downtime and keep workflows efficient.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to support accuracy and compliance.
  • Follow all safety protocols including proper PPE use, equipment operation, and hazard reporting.
  • Keep warehouse and production areas clean and organized to support 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve material issues or shortages.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Position Summary: The Production Material Handler supports daily manufacturing operations by receiving, storing, staging, and delivering raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, maintains clean and organized work areas, and follows all safety and quality procedures.

Position Responsibilities

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other industrial equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Position Qualifications
  • Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1+ years forklift experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with inventory control preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
