Job summary

Hayden Industrial in Claremore, Oklahoma, is seeking a Material Handler to ensure a stable flow of materials in the supply chain. You will move materials to kit or warehouse locations, support production with kits and materials, and perform Glovia transactions to keep inventory accurate.

The role emphasizes safety, strong communication, and organizational skills in a non-temperature-controlled metal fabrication environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work Monday–Thursday evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferably Glovia).
• Strong understanding of safety practices in warehouse.

Description

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Claremore, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for handling all warehouse materials and inventory as a Material Handler. The ideal candidate ensures a stable flow of materials in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Move all received material to designated kit or warehouse locations-both physically and via system entry (Glovia).
• Complete kits by pulling items listed on pick lists or BOM’s; assign kit bay locations for storage.
• Provide kits, raw, and consumable materials to production to support manufacturing.
• Perform all necessary Glovia transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Communicate any inventory or material issues to the Warehouse Manager.

Hayden Industrial has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill.”) effective August 29th, 2019.

Supervisor Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, (paint masks, respirator, when required) and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

While performing duties of this job, the employee in this position is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. This position requires walking, the ability to reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m to 2:00a.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
