Viant Medical Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support our injection molding operations, ensuring materials arrive safely, on time, and in the right quantities to keep production moving smoothly.

You will work on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), handling inventory, operating material equipment, and collaborating with production teams to maintain efficiency and safety on site at our Chicopee facility.

Responsabilidades

• Supply raw materials to injection molding and manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and maintain material levels for active production orders.
• Verify materials against work orders and job instructions.
• Blend materials, colorants, and additives per established procedures.
• Prepare, fill, connect, and operate material dryers.
• Return, label, inventory, and stage materials for warehouse storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP system.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual inventories.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
• Complete inventory transactions and required documentation.
• Support additional projects and activities as needed.

In this position, you'll ensure our production teams have the materials they need to keep manufacturing running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.50 with a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd Shift.

Work Schedules:

• 2nd Shift:3:00 PM-11:30 PM (Monday- Friday)

What You'll Do

As a Material Handler, you will:

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment
• Complete inventory transactions and required documentation accurately
• Support additional projects and activities as needed

Education & Experience

• 0-2 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification if required)
• Acceptable driving record for company vehicle operation when applicable

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

• Lifting and controlling materials up to 55 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the facility
• Medium work involving:
  • Up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Up to 20 pounds of force frequently
  • Up to 10 pounds of force constantly
