Job summary

NABRICO Marine Products in Ashland City, TN is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support daily production by safely moving, organizing, and staging materials throughout the facility.

You will operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other equipment; read tape measures and work orders; and contribute to a clean, safe, efficient workspace in a non-climate-controlled industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts/overhead cranes or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures, material labels, and work orders.
• Strong safety, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely move raw materials, steel, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, and stage materials for production and shipments.
• Verify material identification and quantities to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.

What You'll Do

• Safely move raw materials, steel, fabricated components, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, and stage materials for production and shipments.
• Verify material identification and quantities to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.

What You'll Need

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and heavy equipment
