Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is seeking a Material Handler on First Shift to support production by moving materials, packing, and preparing items for shipping.

Responsibilities include stocking materials, maintaining records, performing cycle counts, and occasional forklift or pallet jack operation in a manufacturing environment. Requires 1–2 years' related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of material handling.
• Familiarity with material handling duties and related processes.

Location Redmond, WA

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Material Handler on First Shift. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.

JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines
• Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.
• Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training
• May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position)

Salary range is $20.12 - $27.22 per hour, dependant on experience. Mid-point is $23.67.

Quarterly Profit Sharing Bonus eligible.
