We are currently seeking applicants for a Material Handler 2 – Shipping Clerk on 1st Shift at Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE. Overtime is available as needed. This role is responsible for physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology, with around 600 employees, making it one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Job Summary:

Performs physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

What you will be doing:

• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Lifts heavy items and operates a forklift (certification provided onsite).
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Cleans floors with a sweeper machine when necessary.

What you will bring along:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Ability to drive a forklift (will certify onsite)
