Job summary

BD Sparks is hiring for a second-shift order-fulfillment role at USA MD - Sparks. You will perform order filling and over-packing, operate hand jacks, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced distribution center.

You must learn packaging equipment and RF devices, with capacity to work in refrigeration (2-8 C) up to 10 hours daily. The position requires a high school diploma and 1+ years of experience, with forklift license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience required, 2+ years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks associated with the order filling and/or over-packing of BD products for customer orders.
• Must be able to operate manual hand jacks or battery powered hand jacks to assist with order filling.
• Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature following all BD Distribution Center procedures.
• Must have the ability to recognize when deviation from an accepted practice may be required.
• Ability to work independently as required.
• May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.
• Ability to safely operate required equipment (power hand jacks).
• Ability to learn and use packaging equipment and RF devices.
• May be required to work on the DC parcel manifest line, which will require an understanding of the parcel manifest systems.
• Must be able to work in refrigeration (2-8 Celsius) up to 10 hours per day.
