Job summary

BD in Sparks, MD is hiring for a 2nd shift order fulfillment role. You will fill orders, operate hand jacks, and support team goals in a fast-paced distribution center.

Must have a high school diploma and 1+ year experience; forklift license is required or obtainable within a month. You will work 12:00 PM-8:30 PM in a primarily on-site setting with vaccination policies in place where required.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to keep detailed record of logs and documents.
• Coordination of mental and physical attention of thought, hand, and eye required.
• Previous experience preferred but not required. 6-12 months experience preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience required, 2+ years’ experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks associated with the order filling and/or over-packing of BD products for customer orders.
• Operates manual hand jacks or battery powered hand jacks to assist with order filling.
• Works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Follows BD Distribution Center procedures for routine work.
• Recognizes when deviation from an accepted practice may be required.
• Works independently as required.
